Thump
Thump
Thump

The heart knows not what it wants
Nor what it needs
It only feels

Thump
Thump
Thump

It yearns, it beats, it skips
But only on special ocassions
But it always feels

Thump
Thump
Thump

Can you hear what it's trying to say?
Would you listen if you could?
It won't ever stop feeling

Thump
Thump
Thump

It might be influenced, it might be corrupted
It might be deceived, it might be hurt
It might be closed-off, it might be open
But no matter what, the heart always feels

Thump
Thump

It never stops feeling
It never stops beating
It never stops

Thump

It never ends.

The use of onomatoepia - thump thump - brings in physical tie to the words, as well as some abstarct phrases such as "It might be influenced, it might be corrupted" where it's actually your feeling of being influenced and corrupted but it's so strong it's your heart that bleeds with it - I like it! Great job, keep up the writing
